The next Minnesota Foundation for Responsible Animal Care meeting is set for Monday, August 8.
Featured discussion will be "Addressing Concerns about Antibiotic Use."
The meeting will be held from 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in room B145 at the Minnesota Department of Agriculture, which is located at 625 Robert St N in Saint Paul near the Capitol.
From 10:00 a.m.-noon, an expert panel will address issues surrounding how consumer and retailer concerns are driving potential changes to antibiotic use and regulations.
Later in the day, attendees will discuss priority efforts that MnFRAC will focus on over the coming months, including the development of a new response network to respond to alleged animal neglect cases, along with the development of potential educational seminars focused on animal care and employee management.
