Editor, The Farmer
Paula Mohr has been editor of The Farmer since 2004. She enjoys covering a wide range of topics that are of interest to Minnesota producers.
“Minnesota is blessed with rich soils, diverse agriculture and astute farmers,” she says. “News and feature stories abound, especially since state production ranks in the nation’s top 10 for sugar beets, turkeys, corn, soybeans, eggs, hogs and milk.”
Mohr grew up on a dairy farm in the Thumb area of Michigan. She is a graduate of Michigan State University and holds a degree in agricultural communications.
For more than 30 years, she has covered agriculture in print media. An award-winning writer, Mohr is the recipient of media awards from the Southeast Minnesota Ag Alliance and the Minnesota Soil and Water Conservation Society.
