Register Now For Third Annual Cattle Harvest Day

The University of Minnesota Extension Beef Team and Meat Science will host this two-day event on the St. Paul campus.

The New Year brings the first event of the University of Minnesota beef Extension programming—the Third Annual Cattle Harvest Day Workshop.

The workshop is Thursday and Friday, January 5-6 at the Andrew Boss Laboratory of Meat Science, Main Auditorium (Room 125), on the U-M Saint Paul campus.

The workshop will take a whole-system look at producing quality beef. Topics include the impact of genetics on meat quality, animal welfare and the beef industry, a look at antibiotic use in the beef industry, effects of cattle type on beef quality, and will also include beef cutting displays and plenty of beef samples and meals.
