Promote Animal Ag at the State Fair

MnFRAC seeks young adults to apply for State Fair Peer Mentor Program.

The Minnesota Foundation for Responsible Animal Care is seeking college students and younger adults with an interest in agriculture education and supporting animal agriculture to apply for a position as a Peer Mentor during the Minnesota State Fair.

Peer Mentors work with selected youth livestock exhibitors to help facilitate positive interactions with State Fair visitors and help exhibitors deliver an accurate and positive message about animal agriculture. A copy of the position description may be found on the MnFRAC website www.mnfrac.org.

 MnFRAC's key mission is to maintain and enhance consumer confidence in animal care, food integrity and environmental stewardship by engaging a broad coalition of diverse interests. The organization is a broad based coalition of farmers, agriculture organizations, food manufacturers and retailers, livestock markets, veterinarians, academics, government, exhibitions, local humane societies, law enforcement and private citizens engaged in animal care and providing food for consumers.
