MFU Hosting Spring Meetings

Meetings begin March 20 in Appleton, Windom and St. Peter.

Minnesota Farmers Union's spring meeting schedule is set. These meetings are for discussions on legislative issues on the national and state level.

At issue are:

•Property taxes;

•Federal farm bill;

•Voter identification;

•Constitutional amendment;

•Township permitting;

•Agriculture bonding bill; and

•Dairy

"These meetings are a great opportunity for MFU members and non-members to come and talk about what is happening in the agriculture world," said Doug Peterson, Minnesota Farmers Union President.  "Circle the date on the calendar, grab a friend, and come talk ag."
